Valentine's day is here so I decided to put on hold the blogs that I've been preparing for this week. This is something new to me and I've gone over whether or not I should but I decided to go ahead with it! Today I want to share with you open letters to my husband and my family. It may be the first and last time I do it :)
Diego and I have been married for 7 months and it's been a real treat being with this man. My family and I have been together for 23 years and counting! So on this Valentine's day and everyday I want to encourage you to say 'I love you' to your spouse, to your family and to your friends.

My dear husband,
I want to celebrate you on this day because you have shown how selfless and loving you are. Thank you because you've been my rock during my hardest times and my lowest moments, not only during marriage but during the years we have been together. I want to thank you for flying me away to Thailand, sending me to Ecuador and treating me in Barcelona. I want you to know that I will support you in everything, I will laugh at every joke you make and I will forever annoy you at night just before we fall asleep. I can't wait to see where our lives are going to go but for now, I'll take each day as they come. Thank you for choosing me, not only as your Valentine but as your life partner.

Samy, you are the most beautiful girl out there and I promise you that no matter what, distance will never separate us. I've told you this since you were young but Samy, you are the most beautiful flower in my garden and as your sister I will do anything to protect you and your heart. I'm lucky enough to have you as my sister but I'm happy that you are my best friend. Thank you for the nights we shared and the times you did my hair even when you were ready to sleep.
My baby born, you are the funniest and coolest boy out there. I'm thankful that you are genuine, you make everyone laugh and you have a good heart. I miss having cuddle sessions with you at night and making you share jokes with me! Thank you because you been an example to me as well. Don't ever change because there is no one in our family like you! Don't ever change and believe that there are great things for you.
